Place & date of opening of Tender : Office of the Executive Engineer, R.W.Division, Bargarh at 11 AM on 27.06.2007 in the presence of tenderers or their authorised agents. -2- The tenderers should please note that : 1. The Bid documents are available on the Internet web site http/www.tenders.gov.in and can be down loaded from the Internet. The Bidders who download the bidding documents from the internet web site would have to pay the cost of bid documents as mentioned in column(4) in shape of DEMAND DRAFT only in favour of Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Bargarh submit the DEMAND DRAFT in a separate envelope marking ”Cost of bidding documents down loaded from the Internet” with the bid documents. The Bank draft towards the cost of tender paper should be purchased in favour of the Executive Engineer R.W.Division, Bargarh ,before the last date of sale of tender paper i.e. dt. 26.06.07 upto 3.00 P.M.. The authority will not be responsible if any portion of the Tender document is not included or modified other than the approved one as available in the Office of the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division Bargarh & concerned sub-division . The downloading facility will be available from 12.6.2007 to 26.6.2007 (upto 3.00P.M.) & the last date of sale of tender Paper is 26.6.2007 upto 3.00 PM. 2. The requisite E.M.D. @ 1% of the Estimated cost should be submitted along with the tender in shape of N.S.C/Postal time deposit /Postal savings Bank Pass Book/ K.V.P. duly pledged in favour of the Executive Engineer, R.W.Division, Bargarh. The EMD should be valid for at least 45 days beyond the validity of the tender. Tenderers exempted from the E.M.D. by virtue of having fixed deposit with Govt. shall have to furnish exemption order to that effect. Engineer Contractors who want to avail E.M.D. exemption have to give one affidavit with their tender declaring therein to the effect that, they have not yet been entrusted with three nos. of works with exemption of EMD during this financial year & to show the original contractor’s registration certificate to the tender opening authority for confirmation. 3. Detailed information as contained in the D.T.C.N. shall have to be strictly adhered to while submitting the tender papers. 4. The tender papers shall have to be submitted in sealed cover with the name of work on the face of the covers. 5. The Cost of tender papers will be received in shape of cash or Demand Draft only drawn in Nationalized Bank in favour of E.E.R.W. Division, Bargarh. 6. Sealed tenders will be received also by post in the concerned offices within the last date and stipulated time for receiving the tenders. Tenders received beyond the stipulated date and time will not be considered. The department will not be responsible for postal delay or loss in transit in case of tenders sent by post. 7. The tenderer while submitting tender shall furnish an affidavit in original along with the tender about the authenticity of the tender documents including EMD or shall submit the same in original at the time of signing the Agreement. 8. The contractor has to arrange and supply all the materials required for the work himself as per specification subject to the approval of quality of the materials by the Executive Engineer, R.W. Division, Bargarh or his authorized field officers. 9. The contractor himself at his own cost as and when required for execution of works should arrange the machineries. - 3 – The detailed information can be obtained from the internet website http://www.tenders.gov.in and the Bid documents can be down loaded from the internet. Any other particulars can be obtained on application from the office of the undersigned during office hours of working days.
